Episcopal High School in Houston seeks a Learning Specialist (with a concentration in math), who will support the Director of Academic Assistance in the many facets of the office including, but are not limited to, the following:

• reviewing diagnostic testing and creating educational plans for students with learning differences
• managing the Academic Assistance Program (AAP)
• overseeing applications for extended time SAT/ACT testing
• organizing and overseeing extended time testing for the PSAT, midyear exams, and final exams.

In addition to being responsible for at least one AAP class during the school day, the Learning Specialist will provide individual help to AAP and other students struggling in math and to math faculty in working with students with learning differences.

EHS seeks candidates with a strong educational background and a demonstrated commitment to working with young people and collaborating with colleagues. Special education certification or experience is preferred.
