EHS Specialist Sr. II - Process Safety (1903575) - Port Arthur, TX
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for PSM / Process Safety and OSIH at the Port Arthur site. Reporting to the site EHS Manager, you will be responsible for supporting, facilitating and implementing PSM / OSIH programs designed to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in Engineering, Science or an Environmental discipline and your experience implementing environmental programs in a chemical manufacturing environment, you will provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure PSM and OSIH compliance at the Port Arthur site.
Successfully engaging with others inside and outside of the organization, you will participate in capital project reviews to serve as the expert of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Process Safety to support the project.
Demonstrating your expertise in both Occupational and Process Safety Management, you will provide strategic leadership and work with management on identified PSM/OSIH issues, recommendations, and opportunities to foster continuous improvement of EHS programs and culture.
Your unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety will be evident as you assist the site with implementation of corporate EHS policies and procedures (including but not limited to Safe Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis, Management of Change, Incident/Accident investigation, HAZCOM, Training, Pre-startup safety reviews, etc.).
Using your working knowledge of PSM PHA's and Revalidations of process units and the capability to facilitate, you will support the site during internal corporate audits.
Your effective communication skills will serve you well as you support the site by interfacing with regulatory agencies and third parties, as needed, on compliance and enforcement issues.
