Recruitment of study participants for the several ProHealth Studies. Utilizes solid foundation in basic recruitment strategies and experience with recruitment and retention in research studies. Capable of exercising independent judgment while engaging with potential study participants over the phone and in person. Work closely with Study Coordinators and Assistant Director of Clinical Operation at Johns Hopkins ProHealth Research Center located in Woodlawn.
Work as part of a productive, collaborative research team. Our team has been dedicated to conducting high-quality research studies for over twenty five years.
Utilizing a prepared script, conducts interviews by phone or in person with potential study participants
Must have excellent telephone demeanor
Must be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word required. as well as the ability to work independently from home or at Woodlawn.
Scope of Responsibility:
•Follows routine protocols under some supervision
•Maintain and organize study files.
•Maintain confidential records of study files.
•Effectively prioritize and work on multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines and demonstrate excellent time management skills and efficiency.
•Participate in team meetings and must work flexible hours including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.
Engages in regular and continuous decision making having an impact on recruitment of study participants
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required, some college courses preferred.
Some related experience.
Knowledge of working with diverse populations especially the elderly.
JHU Equivalency Formula: Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

During the Influenza ("the flu") season, as a condition of employment, The Johns Hopkins Institutions require all employees who provide ongoing services to patients or work in patient care or clinical care areas to have an annual influenza vaccination or possess an approved medical or religious exception. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
