Spend time onsite with clients throughout Silicon Valley and the Bay Area to help solve their most pressing IH challenges.
Assist the world’s most innovative companies to develop and deliver world-class EHS/IH solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues and performance improvement needs.
Understand how your work affects our clients’ business objectives and help them achieve these objectives.
Implement innovative programs and strategies in all areas of Industrial Hygiene; including indoor air quality, safety management systems, process safety and risk management, lab safety & chemical hygiene programs, regulatory compliance audits, and IH compliance program development.
Plan, execute, and/or manage IH sampling, analyze and interpret the data, effectively communicate the sample results, and provide your recommendations within a comprehensive report to the customer.
Provide oversight and maintain your technical depth, expertise, and credibility through your involvement in all aspects of key project work, and consistent requalification/retraining.
Manage a variety of projects to achieve scope, budget and schedule targets while ensuring we meet and exceed our clients expectations on deliverables.
Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectations.
Build a network within and outside of ERM that will enable you to leverage your skills and solve challenging multi-disciplinary client challenges. Collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute EHS compliance and Industrial Hygiene projects.
Work with various project teams to effectively delegate assignments, and act as a mentor to more junior staff members. Train the next generation of health and safety leaders!
BS/MS in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Industrial Hygiene Certification (CIH) required.
10+ years of relevant experience in working with private sector manufacturing, R&D, and/or construction companies as an Industrial Hygienist, with experience in the tech, biotech, manufacturing, power, chemical, oil and gas sectors preferred. Consulting experience is also a plus.
Must have extensive experience conducting chemical exposure assessments and reporting. Must have a solid understanding of the relevant local, state and federal regulations and how they apply to specific industries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Travel throughout the Bay Area to work with a variety of clients is expected.
Have substantial experience with the practical implementation of one or more of the following H&S or IH focus areas from above.
