ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Coordinates the implementation of client projects within set organizational procedures and standards controlling the quality, time and budget targets, and managing the associated risks · Develops, implements and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. · Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. · Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals. · Ability to manage projects with a value of $300k to $1M · Manage a team of 10 – 30+ FTE · Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. · Performs a variety of complex tasks. · Leads and directs the work of others. · A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. · Serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. · Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. · Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering · Must hold certification/registrations in functional area · Minimum 8+ years related experience · Has strong management experience · Ability to interact with all staff/clients/contractors in a professional manner · Solid Proposal and Report writing skills · Good organizational skills
