Safety Management Group is seeking an HSE Advisor - Branchburg, New Jersey.

The key function is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible regarding change.

This Client requires a covid vaccine.

• Develop and manage the Contractor Safety Program
• Support and administer pre-work risk assessments 
• Review safety plans and monitor for changes
• Evaluate and verify mechanisms for contractor performance
• Conduct job site visits 
• Create safety observation reports
• Perform process verifications
• Conduct training verifications
• Conduct event investigations
• Document, track, and trend contractor event data
• Verify corrective actions for completion
• Root Cause Analysis investigator
  
  

• A degree in Safety or a related field preferred
• 5 to 10 years of experience that includes risk management, construction, and general industry safety practices
• CSP, CHST, or OHST preferred
  
  

Physical Demands of the job may include:

• Moving about long distances
• Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
• Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
• Working in extreme weather
• Being exposed to loud noises
• Wearing personal protective gear correctly
